The Art of Food at Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival

The Woodlands Arts Council recently presented the 2019 Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in Town Green Park. This annual festival brings together over 200 artists from across the country to feature their artwork in a wide variety of mediums. It also gives local culinary talents an opportunity to showcase their food at The Art of Food demonstration, including our very own culinary director, Chef Barry Lofton.

Chef Barry cooked for a crowd as he prepared samples of our newest dish: Shrimp & Grits! The audience got to watch and learn from him as he walked through each step in preparing this savory southern classic and shared his cooking techniques.
