Insperity Invitational 2024

Stars lined up for this year’s Insperity Invitational, except for the weather. The inclement weather affecting the greater Houston area required Insperity Invitational 2024 tournament results to be finalized through the conclusion of 36 holes played on Saturday, May 4th.

The Woodlands Country Club has been hosting the annual Insperity Invitational for 16 years, part of the PGA TOUR Champions Charles Schwab Cup. This year’s tournament attracted 78 players and thousands of fans from across the world.

While Sunday, May 5th planned ‘play’ was cancelled, Black Walnut was on the field to feed hundreds of tournament volunteers, caddies, supporting staff and local first responders. Our boxed lunch donation was greatly appreciated, and hand delivered and served on the 18th Hole by our Woodlands team members, General Manager German Duenas and Culinary Director Cristhian Andrade. Catering a big group, whether it’s a dozen hungry co-workers in the office, a wedding reception of a hundred, or feeding 600 volunteers on a golf course is something Black Walnut is capable.

The Insperity Invitational also benefits various North Houston local charities; including Interfaith of The Woodlands, Montgomery County Yes to Youth and more. Houston, Texas is home to various PGA TOUR events, including the Texas Children’s Houston Open which was hosted at the Memorial Park Golf Course back in March. With six Greater Houston area locations, there is a Black Walnut nearby to enjoy a breakfast before, late lunch or dinner after any PGA TOUR event in town.

Our generous donation to the Insperity Invitation was co-sponsored by Wing Aviation – a Houston based private aircraft management and jet charter company.
